Students who are on a temporary visa have to register themselves for the residence permit and their stay. During this period they are not allowed to work full-time. For temporary residence permit requirements students need to have:

  • Other documents such as marriage/ birth certificate, work permit for employment, proof of enrollment, etc. 

Working rights on student visa

Students are allowed to work 20 hours per week in specific fields and organizations. After completing the study program students are capable of working 40 hours per week. 

Visa conditions

There are some student visa rules that must be followed by international students.

  • Students must choose a consistent study program that is approved by the Cyprus government. 
  • Students are required to maintain (OSHC) Overseas Student Health Cover. 
  • Students are required to maintain all the requirements of the study program in which they are enrolled. 

Intakes

There are 2 intakes to study in Cyprus i.e. September intake and February intake.
