General requirements

The UK general student visa is available to international students who are at least 16 years old and wish to study in the United Kingdom. To be eligible for a Tier 4 Visa, the applicant must meet the following requirements.

  • Be older than 16 year old parents or legal guardian letters, if you are under 18 year old 
  • Secure a place in the course in an institution listed as a licensed sponsor of tired four candidates 
  • Confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) ,CAS reference number 
  • Demonstrate English language knowledge in an interview
  • For studies held in English language at the NQF level below 6 – knowledge of English should be at least B1
  • For studies held in English language at the NQF level 6 and higher – knowledge of English should be at least B1
  • Maintenance fund for your entire stay in the UK

  • Full time (40 hrs per week during scheduled holidays)

  • Get public funds.
  • Work in certain jobs like sports person or sports coach
  • Study at an academy or a local authority funded school also known as maintained school 
  • After entering the nation, you will be unable to change universities or colleges and will be required to stay with the same institution for the duration of your studies in the UK.
